Don has specialised in health industry related litigation and dispute resolution since 1998. He has extensive experience in acting for a wide range of health care practitioners in the areas of professional indemnity, disciplinary proceedings, coronial inquest and criminal matters.
He has a keen interest in risk management in the context of the delivery of health care and has presented numerous seminars and prepared numerous papers in this area.
Don’s previous experience involved an in-house legal role at a large medical defence organisation providing him with hands on experience in the corporate and insurance sector.
Don also holds a nursing qualification enhancing his skill set and his ability to analyse complex medico-legal perspectives including drug interactions and complications.
