Mark graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1985 and has more than 20 years experience as a commercial and corporate lawyer both in Perth and in Melbourne.

Major project work includes representing a US defence contractor on the supply of cutting edge technology to a major Commonwealth government business enterprise (rail infrastructure owner and access provider), acting for a Victorian agribusiness association in a proxy collection and voting campaign, acting for the management team in a multi-million dollar management buy-out and private equity deal, advising an international professional services firm on its restructure and capital management project, advising a national electrical contracting firm on its shareholder and governance arrangements, and acting for a large insurance and financial services group on a strategic acquisition.

Mark has recently completed Chartered Secretaries Australia’s Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
